Hi we are Vikesh and Apoorva and our goal is to travel around the world on Budget!
We are the founders of “Mapping Minimalists”
Why did we start this travel Blog?
“9-5 Job Is boring! Should quit the job and follow dreams!” – This is what you hear the most. It is not entirely true! We believe that working in regular jobs that we are good at, to earn bread butter and to enjoy life to the fullest is also possible and easy/ involves no risk. Not everyone can afford quitting the job and make money through travelling. There are people like us who are not interested in getting carried away with the trend. Earning through sponsorship, being a fulltime traveller to make money not necessarily be a travellers thing.
After travelling around the world for quite some time now, we realized that edited photos on the social media look amazing and influences viewers/us to travel to such places, and click exact same Picture. It also makes few naïve and have fancy dream of Luxury travel and take scary unrealistic risk.
In our opinion edited photos look attractive, but it will always portray an edited content. It never showcases how the real world looks. Everybody in this social world just shows the good side of every place. We want to show all the things about a place. The good, bad and the ugly. We are trying to let people experience the world by un-editing any of our photos as that gives more real experience. Want to show the ups and downs of our travel experience, share honest opinion without leaning towards sponsorship.
Let’s go Travel with Mapping Minimalists !
Our travel Style
See how We have saved our money and planned trips in our lifetime
We like to plan all our travels well in advance, in our experience it saves a lot of money. Through this blog we also want to show the world, travel does not have to be expensive or out of reach, if we plan ahead.
We know it is impossible to visit each part of a country every time we travel, so we want to make the experiences deeper. Hence this blog is designed to encourage people to pursue deeper, more meaningful travel experiences.
We would rather spend money on doing amazing things, than on luxury transportation and accommodation. We take pleasure in knowing more about the places visited rather than aiming to increase the “places visited” count.
Here you will not find generalized information like common links to booking.com, which targets everybody. This blog will have specific details like typical cost, budget tips, best flights to travel. You can expect a detailed guide for the travel destinations. We only provide affiliate links to places where we have stayed or tours which we have personally taken and our honest feedback.
This blog is for people who like to travel on a budget with basic accommodation, basic travel needs. No edited photos, no sponsorship only real views is our moto.
Hope you Join us on this Journey!
